Abigail Raines

Abigail Raines is a SLP and AAC specialist at UCP of Central Florida. She started at UCP of central Florida in August 2018 as a school based SLP and has served as the AAC Specialist for UCP of Central Florida's 8 campuses since 2022. In this role, she completes comprehensive AAC evaluations for a wide variety of students with complex communication needs. Abigail also provides ongoing professional development, training and coaching for therapists, teachers, campus staff, and families to build confidence and competence in AAC use. She collaborates closely with multidisciplinary teams to support meaningful AAC implementation within classroom routines, helping students access communication across learning environments. Abigail is passionate about early intervention, team-based practice, and empowering children with complex communication needs to develop functional communication skills.
