What you'll learn

Create calmer, more connected classrooms by teaching with intention. In this self-paced program, you’ll learn practical routines and evidence-informed strategies that proactively support student behavior—so you can spend less time reacting and more time teaching. Designed for charter school leaders and educators (and helpful for support staff and families), the course breaks behavior support into clear, doable steps you can implement immediately. You’ll explore how predictable structures, explicit expectations, and relationship-centered practices reduce disruptions and increase engagement. Through real-world examples and ready-to-use tools, you’ll build a classroom management system that aligns with inclusive practices. You’ll also learn how to respond to challenging behavior with consistency and compassion, using data to identify patterns, teach replacement skills, and strengthen positive behaviors over time. By the end of the program, you’ll be able to: • Establish daily routines that promote independence and belonging • Teach and reinforce expectations in ways students understand • Use proactive strategies to prevent common behavior challenges • Create simple tracking systems to guide decisions and measure progress Teaching with Intention helps you build a sustainable, school-aligned framework that supports every learner and empowers you to lead with clarity, confidence, and care.
