Our Approach
As a Nationally Recognized Model, UCP Charter Schools is the only Florida recipient of the U.S. Department of Education’s CSP Model Development & Dissemination Grant a nearly $2.3 million federal investment over five years supporting the development and national sharing of inclusive charter school models.
This grant launched the UCP Institute and supports its national impact.

Our Purpose
Our purpose is to share UCP Charter Schools' proven inclusive education model, helping charter schools nationwide expand access and improve outcomes for every learner.
Key elements of the model being shared include:
Integrated Services
Integrating therapeutic supports (OT, PT, ST) within the classroom.
Personalized, Data-Informed Strategies
Implementing Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Universal Design for Learning (UDL).
Collaborative Instructional Practices
Utilizing co-teaching and multidisciplinary teams.
