Our Approach

As a Nationally Recognized Model, UCP Charter Schools is the only Florida recipient of the U.S. Department of Education’s CSP Model Development & Dissemination Grant a nearly $2.3 million federal investment over five years supporting the development and national sharing of inclusive charter school models.

This grant launched the UCP Institute and supports its national impact.

Current Focus:

  • Defining and documenting the UCP inclusive education model

  • Organizing core practices, systems, and tools

  • Preparing resources for national sharing

Resources will be released in phases.

The purpose is to disseminate the UCP Charter Schools’ proven, high-quality charter school model that supports diverse learning needs. 

 

The overall aim is to enable other charter schools nationwide to adopt and adapt these practices to expand access and improve academic and functional outcomes for all students
