Dr. Kristy Bautista-Harris serves as the Lead Occupational Therapist and Diagnostician for UCP
Charter Schools, where she oversees occupational therapy services and evaluations across the
school network. She brings over 20 years of clinical experience in occupational therapy across
diverse practice settings, with extensive expertise in pediatric and school-based services.

Dr. Bautista-Harris earned her Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy, Bachelor of Science in
Health Administration, and Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Barry University in
Miami, Florida. She later completed her Post-Professional Doctorate in Occupational Therapy at
the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. She also serves on the University of Florida
Occupational Therapy Doctoral Advisory Committee.
Her clinical specialization is in neurorehabilitation and pediatric occupational therapy. She is
certified in Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT) and has advanced training as a handwriting
specialist. Her work emphasizes neurodevelopmental and sensory-integrative approaches to
support children in developing foundational skills that promote independence in academic
participation, physical engagement, and social interactions.
