Instructor Spotlight: Dr. Sarah Valley, Lead Physical Therapist

Dr. Sarah Valley is the Physical Therapy Lead Diagnostician and Therapy Outreach Liaison
for UCP of Central Florida. Dr. Valley earned her undergraduate Biology degree and
Elementary Education minor from Wells College and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree
from Louisiana State University-New Orleans. She has been treating for the past 12 years in
Louisiana, Hawaii, and Florida. Dr. Valley has experience in acute, school-based, early
intervention, skilled nursing facility, outpatient, and home health care.

Dr. Valley is currently on the advisory board for UCF’s Go Baby Go! Chapter, AHU’s DPT
program, and represents UCP of Central Florida in the UCP Early Detection and
Intervention Collaborative. She is going through the certification process to become a
Nature-Based Pediatric Therapist. Dr. Valley is passionate about getting kids outside and
moving, focusing on education and the participation level of skills. She has overseen
Special Olympics programs at all 8 UCP charter schools for the past 3 years.
